Whether it’s a reinvention of Indian classics or global flavours plated with flair, these new restaurants in Delhi NCR are setting the tone for where the capital is headed next — bold, experimental, and unapologetically delicious.
Arts Room
Arts Room, the newest gem from Ambrosia Hospitality, is a modern European restaurant in Delhi where art, books, and gastronomy come together in perfect harmony. Located at Eldeco Centre, Malviya Nagar, it offers a sensorial dining experience inspired by the elegance of a French living room and the charm of a Parisian courtyard. Executive Chef Parth Saxena’s menu reimagines classic European dishes with locally sourced Indian ingredients—think Shillong pork belly, Andaman lobster, and house-made pasta—while Beverage Director Kamal Kohli’s art-inspired cocktails, such as the Two Fridas and Goan Rains, turn mixology into performance. With curated Indian artworks, collaborations with artisanal producers, and an atmosphere brimming with creativity, Arts Room is less a restaurant and more a celebration of food as an art form.

Miss Margarita by Arriba brings its signature fiesta of flavours to Gurgaon with the launch of its third outlet, led by Chef Partner Noah Barnes. A bold tribute to Mexico’s vibrant culinary culture, the restaurant pairs handcrafted margaritas with inventive dishes like Avocado Agua Chile, birria tacos, and zesty ceviches. The space channels the brand’s playful spirit through colorful tiles, lush greenery, earthy textures, and handcrafted décor that celebrates Mexican artistry. With its upbeat cocktail program and one of India’s most extensive tequila selections, Miss Margarita transforms dining into a lively, sun-soaked celebration where every sip and bite feels like a getaway to Mexico.

Designed by Studio Lotus and Studio GreyMatter, the space mirrors the philosophy of the food—warm, open, and authentic—with an inviting open kitchen at its heart. At Anjeer, dining feels like sitting at a friend’s kitchen table—casual, soulful, and beautifully simple.
Banng
Banng is the audacious Thai-inspired vision born from the collaboration between Michelin-starred Chef Garima Arora and hospitality pioneer Riyaaz Amlani. Anchored in Bangkok’s bold spirit, the restaurant aims to transcend expectations with unapologetic Thai flavors, inventive cocktails, and theatrical storytelling. Every paste, curry, and sauce is crafted from scratch or flown in fresh from Thailand to preserve authenticity. Set in a space designed by Studio Renesa, Banng blends vivid hues, tassel lights, and murals that nod to both Thai folklore and Indian sensibilities. More than just a restaurant, Banng promises an immersive experience—by day, a vibrant ode to Bangkok’s street kitchens; by night, a sultry barscape alive with Cocktails, energy, and stories waiting to be told.
Draavin Canteen
At Draavin Canteen (originally named Dakshin Canteen) in East of Kailash, Chef-entrepreneur Ruchira Hoon crafts a heartfelt ode to her South Indian roots through a menu that’s both nostalgic and refreshingly contemporary. The 24-cover space channels the warmth of a heritage canteen with Athangudi tiles, rattan furniture, and an open, lived-in charm. On the plate, Ruchira celebrates community-driven food traditions from across South India—from Mangalore to Madurai, Kochi to Hyderabad—through dishes like Coconut Rasam with Appalam, Inji Puli Chicken Wings, and millet-based Bisibela Bhaat. Inspired by the legendary “Military Hotels” of the South, Dakshin Canteen serves up bold yet comforting flavours in canteen-style thalis, curries, and kothu parottas. With its Sunday biryanis, festive sadyas, and even a filter kaapi softie for dessert, it’s a soulful journey through the culinary heart of the South.
Kikli
Set in a lovingly restored heritage building in Connaught Place, Kikli by Chef Amninder Sandhu is less a restaurant and more a heartfelt preservation of Punjab’s fading culinary traditions. Rooted in memory and authenticity, it revives forgotten heirloom recipes and age-old techniques — slow-cooked over bhattis, ground on silbattas, and finished with hand-churned white butter. Intentionally steering clear of clichés like butter chicken and dal makhani, Kikli serves rare dishes such as Pathiya Sekiya Kukkad from Granthgarh, Lakshmi Chowk Karahi Mutton, and Paani De Hath Di Roti, each layered with family lore and regional pride. With hormone-free meats, grass-fed ghee, and in-house pickles and wadis, Kikli captures the soul of Punjabi home kitchens — warm, generous, and deeply personal — while its rustic décor and heritage setting make every meal feel like a journey back to Punjab’s heartland.
Latango
Latango brings a slice of Europe to the heart of Delhi with the city’s first all-day European bar helmed by Italian chefs Roberto Blondi and Joe Stanchi. Conceived by restaurateur Sahil Sambhi (of Japonico, Bawri, and Vietnom fame), it’s an ode to slow living and European elegance — where food, cocktails, and culture blend seamlessly. The menu celebrates timeless classics with quiet sophistication, from Atlantic Crab Tagliolini and Seabass Ajo Blanco to a featherlight Latango Tiramisu, all made with local produce and a farm-to-table ethos. At the bar, mixologists Giovanni and Terry reinterpret Europe’s creative spirit through “Liquid Letters from Europe,” a cocktail program inspired by art and literature. Designed by Vivek Guha of Orphic Designs, Latango’s corten steel ceilings, stacked-glass bar, and bouclé seating create a space that’s both sculptural and sensual — a refined European escape that moves gracefully from day to dusk.
Café Monique
Café Monique, the much-loved French café and patisserie from The Manor, has found a chic new home in Khan Market, thanks to entrepreneur Shivan Gupta and Chef Maxime Montay. Inspired by the breezy elegance of the Côte d’Azur, the café radiates South of France charm with its signature blue interiors, baroque arches, and sunlit mirrors that playfully expand the space. The menu, a refreshing departure from its Manor counterpart, focuses on cold French classics — delicate sandwiches, artisanal quiches, and exquisite patisserie. Signature desserts like Le Saint-Honoré, Tarte Tropézienne, and Le Chambord showcase Chef Maxime’s mastery of texture and flavour, while his decadent hot chocolate remains an irresistible winter indulgence. Equal parts cozy and couture, Café Monique is where French finesse meets Khan Market flair.
