A small bustling hill town located 30 km south of Darjeeling. Kurseong. in Lepcha language means “the land of white orchids.” Encompassed by hilly slopes adorned with manicured tea gardens. this is where Bengal’s literary masters like Rabindranath Tagore and Atul Prasad Sen had composed their works. Even Sister Nivedita had found her home at Kurseong.
