Jaipur, September 13, 2025: Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari inaugurated the B2B Meetings and Expo on the second day of the three-day Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM) 2025, organized under the joint aegis of the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR) and the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, at B.M. Birla Convention Centre on Saturday. The RDTM will be open for the general public on Sunday.
Diya Kumari was welcomed by Tourism Commissioner Rukmani Riar and FHTR President Kuldeep Singh Chandela. She also visited the exhibition and extended her congratulations to the Department of Tourism and FHTR for organizing the grand event.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy CM said that such initiatives would greatly promote tourism, and that the government would continue to work in collaboration with the private sector.
“Our aim is to ensure maximum tourist inflow into Rajasthan. The state government is developing essential infrastructure and facilities for tourists,” she said.
She further announced that a budget of ₹5,000 crore would be allocated for infrastructural development in the tourism sector. To enhance safety and convenience, new technological measures are being introduced, including the launch of a dedicated tourist mobile application.
Emphasizing the importance of promotion, Diya Kumari said, “In today’s era, marketing plays a crucial role. The state government and the Department of Tourism are actively engaged in the marketing and branding of Rajasthan. By leveraging media and social media to promote Rajasthan’s historic heritage, art, and culture, we can establish new milestones in the tourism sector.”
The event was graced by the presence of Tourism Commissioner Rukmani Riar, FHTR President Kuldeep Singh Chandela, FHTR General Secretary CA Virendra S. Shekhawat, Senior Vice President Surendra S. Shahpura, along with other dignitaries.
